Turn a Vague Ask Into a Clear Prompt
Most bad answers come from short prompts. This one makes the AI interview you first, then write the prompt you should have sent.
Works with Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini3 fields
I want to ask Claude this: "make my website better". My real goal: more people sign up from the landing page. First, ask me up to 5 questions you need answered to do this well. Wait for my answers. Then write the final prompt with: the context, the task, constraints, what a good answer looks like, and the output format.
Everything you type stays in your browser. Remove passwords, keys and personal data before pasting anything into an AI tool.
Why this prompt is written this way
- Interview first. The model finds the missing context instead of you guessing what to add.
- Real goal. The goal behind the request often matters more than the request.
- Structured result. Context, task, constraints and format are the parts good prompts share.
Example answer
Illustrative and shortened, to show the shape of a good answer. Real answers vary by model.
Questions: Who visits the landing page? What do they sign up for? What is the current sign-up rate? Can you paste the page text? Any brand rules? Then: a prompt asking for 5 specific copy and layout changes, each with the reason.
Tips
- Answer the questions in a numbered list to match them.
- Save the final prompt; you can reuse it with different details.
How to use it
- Replace the example values with your own. The prompt on the right updates as you type.
- Press Copy prompt and paste it into any AI chat, or open it straight in Claude or ChatGPT.
- Save it as prompt.md if you want to reuse it.
